Rules of Sanctimonia

All forums have rules, yes? Sanctimonia here is no exception. We also have rules for everyone. And if you ever heard something like "Rules are made to be broken", don't ever think you can do that here, because our rules are NOT made to be broken. Got it memorized? whip!

Okay then, here goes...

Please use a proper name when registering to this site. As you might have expected, the name you use to register will be the name of your character. So please do not use improper names, such as "ice_queen92", "cool_boy", etc.
Please use anime/CG Animation characters for your avatar. It will be your character's appearance, so be very careful when choosing the picture you want to use. Do not use real life people or your own photograph. Oh, and one more thing... Do not use characters from famous anime/games. Why? The reason is, that famous character will look "too perfect" compared to other characters. That will be unfair to the other members. So please, do not use those famous characters from famous anime/games. You can simply search for random anime/games characters in Google, Yahoo, etc, as long as s/he looks like human. Elf is permitted, too.

Do not create overpowered characters. Nobody's perfect in this world, so your characters should have their own strength and weaknesses.
You may attach a signature in your post, as long as it is no more than 600x300 pixels (width x height). You can put anything you want there, including your favorite celebrity, games, anime, even your craziest photographs, but if you want to put other people's characters in it, make sure you get their permission before doing so.
PAY ATTENTION TO WRITING MANNERS...! As mentioned before, this is a Role-Playing forum, so please pay close attention to your writing manners, including full-stops, comas, etc. And if you want to change the color of your text, make sure everyone can read it clearly.
NO GODMODING. What is Godmoding? Godmoding is when you're controlling others' characters in your post. Each user controls their own characters. Post your story and let your friends continue it using their own characters.
Use third-person's point of view when posting your story. For example, you have to write "He goes to his room", instead of "I go to my room".
Whenever posting a story, make sure it contains at least five (5) sentences. Or, when you post it, make sure it consists of at least four (4) rows. Don't just put one or two lines in it, and please do not post something that is 'OOT' (out of topic).
You are allowed to use Emoticons in your story, but please don't over-use it. A good story can express the character's feelings, even without Emoticons. ^___^
I know we all come from different countries with different languages, but since this site primarily use English, then we suggest that you use it as well. Some Japanese common phrases and words are allowed, but make sure most of the other members can understand that. For example, you may put '-sensei' behind your teacher's names, or '-senpai' behind your seniors names, also 'gomen', 'ohayou', etc.
Some topics have their own rules written in it, which are not listed here. Thus, please do read those rules carefully before starting your RP in those topics, especially in 'Sanctimonia Bank' and 'Upgrade Store'.
Occasionally, the main plot will be updated. There might be interesting stuffs there, so make sure to check the 'Main Plot' topic once in awhile.
Those who registered as students start from Basic Jobs, but teachers and mercenaries can start from Advanced Jobs. Remember one thing, though... Only register as teacher or mercenary if you have understand how to play in this forum.
The maximum number of characters you may have is two (2), and of course, you can do it only if you have more than one e-mail account. Make sure you can handle both characters if you decide to make two of them.
Please do update your character story at least twice a week. If you have other business that required you for not online for more than one week, PM the admins and tell us your reason. Even if you don't have anything to do, just chat with us and check on what's going on here. If you don't online for one month without any reason, we will give you a notice. If you don't online for two months and ignored our notice you will be ban. Sorry.
Do not put any sexual contents in this forum. We (admins) will be judges of that, and should you post any story or picture that contains porn/hentai/yaoi, you will be reprimanded. So be very careful, folks!
We allow your characters to have relationship here, as long as it's a normal relationship (male & female). But remember, although you may create love story here, but please do remember the previous rules. Don't make it too 'over', okay?
Violence, just like love story, is also allowed, especially because there ARE battles you will face here. But still... Don't make it too sadistic, such as cutting someone to pieces little by little with a chainsaw...
Do not put any religion, politics, or social issues.
Do not offend or bully each other. "Peace is beautiful", okay? So if you find any bullying here, please tell us (admins) immediately.
You can change your name by asking the admins. But you must have a very strong reason for doing so.
The last but not least... We, admins, are the one who make the rules in this forum. But should you find any of us break those rules, do not hesitate to tell us, so that we can improve our mistakes. ^___^
